Sal has 20 years of leadership in the Ontario Public Service. His senior management and executive roles spanned the Ministry of Finance, Treasury Board Secretariat, and the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services. He was the Director of Operations for the Ministry of Community and Social Services, where he oversaw over $3B in provincial funding across various social service programs. Since founding Sonderbloom, Sal has partnered with community agencies to deliver direct and practical solutions to help improve access, equity, and outcomes for vulnerable individuals.

Austin serves as the first point of contact for families and agencies using LifeCourseOnline (also known as LCO, a product of Sonderbloom). As our resident expert in everything from getting started to living your good life, Austin makes sure everyone is taken care of on LCO. He not only supports our partners and users, he also helps LCO grow and improve for tomorrow.

Kiev brings extensive data and analytics experience from roles with an analytic consulting company in the US, the LCBO, and the Government of Ontario before joining Sonderbloom. His expertise includes data, analytics, reporting, and forecasting for our consulting projects and LCO.

Diana is our dynamic Marketing and Content Specialist at Sonderbloom. She excels in translating high-level strategies into accessible and effective content. Diana is responsible for managing the social media content calendar for LifeCourseOnline (also known as LCO, a product of Sonderbloom). She supports various marketing efforts, including social media content creation, newsletter and email marketing campaigns, and video production.

Will is an Associate, Affordable Housing Innovation at Sonderbloom. He brings a background in real estate finance, urban policy, and venture investing, with experience designing strategies to expand affordable and sustainable housing. At Sonderbloom, William supports the development of innovative financing tools and housing models that align capital with community impact. He’s passionate about rethinking how housing gets built and funded to better serve people and places.

Madeleine brings 6+ years of nonprofit experience crafting promotional and educational content for at-risk populations. As the Digital Content and Communications Manager at Sonderbloom, she manages campaigns, communication strategies, and educational content development for multi-million-dollar organizations in Ontario. Madeleine leads communications for LifeCourseOnline (LCO), a person-centered planning platform serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Canada and the US.

Hannah is a Project Manager specializing in non-profit evaluations, strategic planning, and affordable housing development. Prior to Sonderbloom, Hannah gained extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Her previous roles encompassed community outreach, fundraising, and program design and implementation, equipping her with a well-rounded perspective on non-profit operations.

With 4 years of research assistantship under her belt, along with a keen interest and passion for the betterment of social services, Isabella believes in the power of community engagement to yield a better tomorrow.

Oysharja Sayed is a Senior Project Manager at Sonderbloom. She has previously worked as a Project Analyst at the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, where she worked on program redesign and service delivery integration for the Ministry’s services. At Sonderbloom, Oysharja has led multiple projects in the social services sector through research, program design & evaluation, consultation, and financial analysis. She has partnered with our clients to deliver on many impactful projects, including women's shelters, youth programs, affordable/supportive housing, and Indigenous programming.

Laura is a former legislator and a veteran journalist with over 30 years of experience. She has served as Ontario Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and as MPP for the riding of York South-Weston. Laura has a solid understanding of the workings of government and public policy and brings strong knowledge in diversity and multicultural communities. As an Associate at Sonderbloom, Laura plays a pivotal role in supporting our government relations efforts.

She recently led the gorgeous rebranding of LCO – a testament to her creativity and impeccable eye for design.

Matt brings 10+ years of experience as a Chartered Surveyor working on real estate and affordable housing projects for both the public and private sectors. Matt brings a deep understanding of the end-to-end housing development lifecycle and has experience navigating and leading projects from concept through to delivery utilizing a problem-solving approach. His expertise is in strategic planning, business case preparation, development appraisals and complex real estate transactions.
